Practice background

On the 11th of June 2007, Dr Philp MacMahon and Dr Rosemary MacMahon moved their former practice across the road at 13 Sandford Road into the newly refurbished premises at 22 Sandford Road to form Ranelagh Medical. Over the last four years, the Dr MacMahons have welcomed Dr. Smyth, Dr. Gallagher and Dr. Fitzgerald to the busy Ranelagh Medical practice.

The practice manager Linda Kenny has been running the practice since it opened with the assistance of the Administration Team - Jacinta, Eleanor and Angela. 

All doctors at Ranelagh Medical are committed to providing total community based family care. This fine tradition is carried out by all medical and support staff. In that same regard, everyone at Ranelagh Medical pride themselves on placing all their patients’ needs at the centre of their efforts

Ranelagh Medical is colocated within Ranelagh Medical Clinic with the HSE Primary Care Team, Ranelagh Dental with Dr Hilary Garvey and her dental colleagues and Ranelgh Eye Clinic with Dr Kevin Tempany and his Ophthalmology team.
The Ranelagh Clinic was officially launched on the Monday 28th of January 2008 by the former Minister for Health Mary Harney.
